As part of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Rural Communities Opioid Response Program, SMHC, in collaboration with Nasson Health Care, Maine Behavioral Healthcare, Frannie Peabody Center, North East Mobile Health Services and the Kennebunk Police Department, have formed the York County Consortium to engage in a comprehensive planning process to transform the current model of care available for persons in need of treatment for opioid use disorder in York County. The York County Consortium is committed to gathering feedback from community members to clarify the service needs of individuals with opioid use disorder; identify opportunities and gaps in prevention, treatment, and recovery services; and help strengthen organizational capacity to address opioid use disorder.

The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete. The results of this survey will be shared with the York County Consortium, HRSA and other key stakeholders in York County.  None of the results will include any personally identifiable information and feedback will not be linked to any individual. The Consortium data collection efforts are being led by Mary Lindsey Smith, PhD, MSW, Principal Investigator, Cutler Institute for Health and Social Policy at the University of Southern Maine, Muskie School of Public Service who can be reached for more information at: m.lindsey.smith@maine.edu.
